Infants/Toddlers - 6 Weeks to 2 Years

The infant room at Little Hands Big Hearts Learning Center provides a warm, stimulating, and safe environment that supports nurturing and encourages exploration. Our clean and organized room, with specific places for sleeping, playing, feeding, and diapering, provides a sense of order and routine that helps your child feel safe and secure. Your child will be held, rocked, and read to by our caring staff members. Our infant program is designed to meet the individual needs of each child and to help them develop their social, emotional, gross and fine motor, cognitive, and language skills.

Our toddler rooms are set up to provide a safe space for children to explore. Toddlers will have a balanced day filled with a variety of stimulating activities, group interaction, free choice play, and quiet time. Separate interest centers with age appropriate toys and materials encourage curiosity and exploration while allowing your child to develop their own interests. Activities in these centers help your child have fun as they learn a variety skills and concepts, all under the loving guidance of our teachers who provide encouragement to increase your child’s self-confidence.

We offer daily reports for our infants and toddlers regarding your child’s activities to encourage teacher-family communication so that we can provide excellent care for your family.
